BAG SEMINAR

 The (w)ORD 19 Workshop/Residency opens in Bergen with a one day seminar and lunch at the BAG arts studios, with guest speakers and the (w)ORD artists presenting topical talks and presentations.








Guest speakers included:

Øystein Jansen (UIB) - How geology creates shapes in rocks and in the landscape
Eldar Heide (HVL - professor in Norwegian language): 
Place names that guide and hide
TEXST Group - wordplay 1 - short word exercises
Hanne Sophie Greve - (Kystordverket) - about the disappearance of Norwegian coastal words and how to save them
Sabine Popp - (Stipendiat, KMD, UIB) - an artistic research project that is based on seaweed kelp forests along the Norwegian coast
